Eagle Information Mapping (Eagle) has an extensive history with pipeline data modeling, particularly with the Pipeline Open Data Standard (PODS) Model and the ArcGIS Pipeline Data Model (APDM), two of the most widely implemented data models in the industry. Eagle’s staff includes some of the industry’s most widely recognized pipeline data modeling experts. Eagle staff members have participated actively and continuously on both the PODS and APDM Boards and the PODS and APDM Technical Committees since the inception of both models. Eagle staff members have also played an important role in the development of both models.
Eagle is the only company in the pipeline GIS Industry that offers separate and unique suites of data maintenance applications for both PODS and the APDM that are designed to interact directly with these two data models (with no middleware, intermediate data stores, or “black boxes”). Eagle also offers a suite of pipeline integrity management and productivity tools that are model independent.
